Next, the Owls encounter the Edison Golden Bears (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 27 test, on Friday, February 7. Highlands will attempt to improve on its 19-13 season record. The Golden Bears come into the test with a 14-17 record after their 45-39 league loss to Seguin (Seguin, TX).

The Matadors (16-15) will now prepare for their test against Burbank (San Antonio, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 5A Region IV District 27 test with a 13-19 record. In their last test, Burbank was knocked off by Jefferson (San Antonio, TX), 67-59, in a league test.
