The Memorial Mustangs basketball team scored 44 points and limited the host Stratford Spartans to 41 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now possess a 12-16 record. They play next when they travel to Cypress Falls for a 6A Region III District 17 game on Friday, February 7. Memorial will confront a Eagles team coming off a 41-25 league win over Cypress Ridge (Houston, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 24-9.

With the loss, Stratford falls to 14-16 on the campaign. The Spartans host Cypress Creek (Houston, TX) to confront the Cougars in a 6A Region III District 17 game on Friday, February 7. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 23-11. Cypress Creek won 55-35 in their recent league game against Jersey Village (Houston, TX)
