Pennsylvania High School Basketball - South Side trounced by Union Area

Union Area Scotties (New Castle, PA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host South Side Rams (Hookstown, PA), 66-35 in a league match.

With the victory, Union Area advances its record to 16-5 on the year. The Scotties host Neshannock (New Castle, PA) to meet the Lancers in a WPIAL 2A 4 match on Friday, February 7. The Lancers enter the match with a record of 17-2. Neshannock won 59-44 in their recent league match against Laurel (New Castle, PA)

The Rams now own a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart for a WPIAL 2A 4 match on Thursday, February 6.
