The Spartans (9-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM). The Huskies come into the 4A District 6 challenge with a 13-9 record. In their last challenge, Hope Christian trounced Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM), 54-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings encounter the Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 5. Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 4-17 record after their 48-45 league win over East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM).
