In Tuesday's league contest, the host Magnet Cove Panthers basketball team scored a big 56-28 triumph over the Gurdon Go-Devils.

The Panthers (17-8) will now prepare for their contest against Parkers Chapel (El Dorado, AR). The Trojans go into the 2A Region 8 contest with a 15-9 record. In their last contest, Parkers Chapel was trounced by Woodlawn (Rison, AR), 49-36, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Go-Devils confront the Poyen Indians (Poyen, AR) in a 2A Region 8 contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Gurdon will attempt to better on its 0-21 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 23-2 record after their 74-32 league win over Hampton (Hampton, AR).
