In Tuesday's league contest, the host Magnolia Panthers basketball team scored a big 67-24 triumph over the Hope Bobcats.

The Panthers (15-10) will now prepare for their contest against Arkadelphia (Arkadelphia, AR). The Badgers go into the 4A Region 7 contest with a 16-5 record. In their last contest, Arkadelphia smashed Camden Fairview (Camden, AR), 68-62, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bobcats confront the Nashville Scrappers (Nashville, AR) in a 4A Region 7 contest, on Friday, February 7. Hope will attempt to better on its 0-13 season record. The Scrappers go into the contest with a 18-7 record after their 56-36 league loss to De Queen (De Queen, AR).
