North Carolina High School Basketball - Rosewood sneaks past Union

February 4, 2025: Goldsboro, NC 27530

The Rosewood Eagles (Goldsboro, NC) basketball edged the visiting Union Spartans (Rose Hill, NC), 33-29 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Hobbton for a 1A Carolina bout on Wednesday, February 5. Rosewood will play a Wildcats team coming off a 79-18 league loss to Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-11.

With the loss, Union falls to 2-15 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to North Duplin (Calypso, NC) to play the Rebels in a 1A Carolina bout on Friday, February 7. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 15-4. North Duplin won 49-47 in their recent league bout against Lakewood (Roseboro, NC)
