The Hopkins Vikings basketball team scored 68 points and held the host NorthPointe Christian Mustangs to 65 in the Vikings league triumph on Monday.

The Vikings now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sparta for a Ottawa-Kent - Silver contest on Tuesday, February 6. Hopkins will battle a Spartans team coming off a 70-37 league win over Comstock Park (Comstock Park, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 11-6.

The Mustangs (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Kelloggsville (Wyoming, MI). The Rockets enter the Ottawa-Kent - Silver contest with a 2-15 record. In their last contest, Kelloggsville was nudged by NorthPointe Christian (Grand Rapids, MI), 63-44, in a league contest.
