Peachtree Ridge Lions (Suwanee, GA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Meadowcreek Mustangs (Norcross, GA), 54-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Peachtree Ridge upgrades its record to 17-7 on the season. The Lions travel to Duluth (Duluth, GA) to clash with the Wildcats in a AAAAAAA Region 7 bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 9-15. Duluth won 50-47 in their recent league bout against Discovery (Lawrenceville, GA)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the North Gwinnett Bulldogs (Suwanee, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 7 bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Meadowcreek will attempt to upgrade on its 6-16 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 14-10 record after their 64-47 league loss to Norcross (Norcross, GA).
