The Santa Teresa Desert Warriors basketball team (Santa Teresa, NM), dropped 43-34 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM)
The Fighting Colts now possess a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Deming for a 4A District 3 battle on Thursday, February 8. Silver will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 54-48 league loss to Chaparral (Chaparral, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-19.
The Desert Warriors (9-11) will now prepare for their battle against Chaparral (Chaparral, NM). The Lobos come into the 4A District 3 battle with a 8-13 record. In their last battle, Chaparral beat Deming (Deming, NM), 54-48, in a league battle.
