In Monday's league match, the host Roosevelt Roughriders basketball team scored a good 48-40 triumph over the Anacostia Indians.
In their next game, the Roughriders meet the Banneker Bulldogs (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA match, on Wednesday, February 7. Roosevelt will attempt to better on its 8-9 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 9-9 record after their 54-12 league win over McKinley Tech (Washington, DC).
With the defeat, Anacostia moves to 12-10 on the year. The Indians host Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC) to meet the Tigers in a DCSAA match on Wednesday, February 7. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 13-7. Jackson-Reed lost 43-40 in their recent league match against Coolidge (Washington, DC)
