Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Champlain Valley Union Redhawks (Hinesburg, VT) and the visiting Burlington Seahorses (Burlington, VT), saw Champlain Valley Union's basketball squad overcome Burlington by a tally of 56-37.

With the victory, Champlain Valley Union improves its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Redhawks host Mt. Mansfield (Jericho, VT) to play the Cougars in a Lake challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Mt. Mansfield won 61-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT)

Next up, the Seahorses play the South Burlington Wolves (South Burlington, VT) in a Lake challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Burlington will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 1-12 record after their 51-40 non-league loss to Essex (Essex Junction, VT).
