Maine High School Basketball - Sumner thwarts Calais

The Sumner Tigers (East Sullivan, ME) basketball knocked off the visiting Calais Blue Devils (Calais, ME), 55-35 in Monday's league test.
The Tigers (6-11) will now prepare for their test against Narraguagus (Harrington, ME). The Knights go into the C North test with a 6-11 record. In their last test, Narraguagus notched a victory over Deer Isle-Stonington (Deer Isle, ME), 36-35, in a non-league test.
The Blue Devils now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Woodland for a C North test on Wednesday, February 7. Calais will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 42-25 non-league win over Shead (Eastport, ME). The Dragons record now stands at 10-7.
