In Monday's non-league outing, the St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA) basketball squad felled the visiting Central Private Redhawks (Baker, LA), by a margin of 45-35.
The Eagles (15-12) will now prepare for their outing against Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA). The Bulldogs go into the 1A District 8 outing with a 11-14 record.
The Redhawks now own a 13-13 record. They play next when they host Slaughter Community Charter for a 1A District 9 outing on Wednesday, February 7. Central Private will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 46-36 league loss to Kentwood (Kentwood, LA). The Knights record now stands at 7-11.
