Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI) and the visiting Fennimore Golden Eagles (Fennimore, WI), saw Mineral Point's basketball squad overcome Fennimore by a tally of 49-40.

With the victory, Mineral Point improves its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Pointers travel to Southwestern (Hazel Green, WI) to confront the Wildcats in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-19. Southwestern lost 63-52 in their recent league challenge against Riverdale (Muscoda, WI)

Next up, the Golden Eagles confront the Darlington Redbirds (Darlington, WI) in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Fennimore will attempt to improve on its 14-8 season record. The Redbirds come into the challenge with a 13-7 record after their 54-53 league loss to Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI).
