The Hoover Patriots basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Sunnyside Wildcats to 38 in the Patriots league triumph on Monday.

The Patriots now sport a 14-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McLane for a North Yosemite contest on Wednesday, February 7. Hoover will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 74-24 league loss to Roosevelt (Fresno, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 9-17.

The Wildcats (7-20) will now prepare for their contest against Sanger West (Fresno, CA). The Hornets enter the North Yosemite contest with a 8-19 record. In their last bout, Sanger West was crushed by Torres (Madera, CA), 57-23, in a league bout.
