The Ider Hornets routed the visiting Section Lions basketball team by a final score of 66-37 in Monday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Hornets face the Pisgah Eagles (Pisgah, AL) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, February 7. Ider will attempt to move on its 17-9 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 13-9 record after their 70-55 non-league win over North Sand Mountain (Higdon, AL).

With the defeat, Section moves to 10-12 on the year.
