New Mexico High School Basketball - Gateway Christian sneaks past Lake Arthur

The Gateway Christian Warriors (Roswell, NM) basketball edged the visiting Lake Arthur Panthers (Lake Arthur, NM), 2-0 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 14-5 record. They play next when they travel to Dora for a A District 4 bout on Thursday, February 6. Gateway Christian will play a Coyotes team coming off a 52-29 league win over Floyd (Floyd, NM). The Coyotes record now stands at 7-13.
With the loss, Lake Arthur falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Melrose (Melrose, NM) to play the Buffaloes in a A District 4 bout on Thursday, February 6. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a record of 15-4. Melrose won 80-20 in their recent league bout against Elida (Elida, NM)
