The Wakefield Memorial Warriors basketball team scored 98 points and limited the visiting Salem Witches to 89 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Warriors now have a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Burlington for a Middlesex game on Friday, February 7. Wakefield Memorial will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 63-48 league win over Melrose (Melrose, MA). The Red Devils record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, Salem falls to 12-2 on the campaign. The Witches host Swampscott (Swampscott, MA) to confront the Big Blue in a Northeastern - Small game on Friday, February 7. The Big Blue go into the game with a record of 9-6. Swampscott won 69-51 in their recent league game against Saugus (Saugus, MA)
