Illinois High School Basketball - Cary-Grove thwarts Crystal Lake Central

The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL) and the visiting Crystal Lake Central Tigers (Crystal Lake, IL), observed Cary-Grove's basketball team knock off Crystal Lake Central by a score of 46-31.

The Trojans (19-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL). The Gators come into the Fox Valley challenge with a 13-13 record. In their last challenge, Crystal Lake South dropped by Huntley (Huntley, IL), 64-26, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Hampshire Whip-Purs (Hampshire, IL) in a Fox Valley challenge, on Friday, February 7. Crystal Lake Central will attempt to improve on its 17-8 season record. The Whip-Purs come into the challenge with a 13-13 record after their 39-37 league win over Jacobs (Algonquin, IL).
