The Grizzlies (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA). The Bruins come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Western Branch trounced Hickory (Chesapeake, VA), 51-34, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Braves encounter the Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 7. Indian River will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 41-35 non-league loss to Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA).
