Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays (Johnstown, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Ferndale Yellow Jackets (Johnstown, PA), 54-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Conemaugh Valley upgrades its record to 10-10 on the season. The Blue Jays host Blacklick Valley (Nanty Glo, PA) to play the Vikings in a Western Pennsylvania - Northern bout on Wednesday, February 8. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 7-13. Blacklick Valley lost 53-39 in their recent league bout against Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA)

Next up, the Yellow Jackets play the Windber Ramblers (Windber, PA) in a Western Pennsylvania - Northern bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Ferndale will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record. The Ramblers go into the bout with a 16-3 record after their 41-33 league win over North Star (Boswell, PA).
