In Monday's league outing, the North Hopkins Panthers (Sulphur Springs, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Fruitvale Bobcats (Fruitvale, TX), by a margin of 60-25.

The Panthers (23-6) will now prepare for their outing against Como-Pickton (Como, TX). The Eagles go into the 2A Region II District 15 outing with a 12-17 record. In their last outing, Como-Pickton was trounced by Boles (Quinlan, TX), 66-61, in a league outing.

The Bobcats now own a 3-22 record. They play next when they host Cumby for a 2A Region II District 15 outing on Tuesday, February 7. Fruitvale will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 65-56 league win over Cooper (Cooper, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 9-12.
