Machias Bulldogs (Machias, ME) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Jonesport-Beals Royals (Jonesport, ME), 63-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Machias upgrades its record to 13-4 on the season. The Bulldogs host Bangor Christian (Bangor, ME) to play the Patriots in a D North bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 15-2. Bangor Christian won 66-35 in their recent non-league bout against Shead (Eastport, ME)

Next up, the Royals play the Narraguagus Knights (Harrington, ME) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Jonesport-Beals will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 4-13 record after their 64-18 non-league win over Deer Isle-Stonington (Deer Isle, ME).
