Maryland High School Basketball - Spencerville Adventist Academy knocked off by McLean

The McLean basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Spencerville Adventist Academy Hornets to 52 in the league triumph on Monday.

The now sport a 3-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barrie for a Freelance contest on Wednesday, February 8. McLean will battle a team coming off a 67-37 league loss to McLean (Potomac, MD). The record now stands at 0-8.

The Hornets (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Sandy Spring Friends (Sandy Spring, MD). The Wildebeests enter the Potomac Valley contest with a 17-8 record. In their last contest, Sandy Spring Friends ran past Georgetown Day (Washington, DC), 55-35, in a league contest.
