The Marquette Redmen basketball team (Marquette, MI), dropped 66-50 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Houghton Gremlins (Houghton, MI)
The Gremlins now possess a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hancock for a Western Peninsula battle on Thursday, February 9. Houghton will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 66-33 league win over West Iron County (Iron River, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-1.
The Redmen (6-10) will now prepare for their battle against Kingsford (Kingsford, MI). The Flivvers come into the Great Northern U.P. battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, Kingsford dropped by Escanaba (Escanaba, MI), 69-42, in a league battle.
