With the victory, South Laurel improves its record to 15-9 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Ryle (Union, KY) to confront the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 10. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 18-7. Ryle won 65-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY)

Next up, the Generals confront the Harlan County Black Bears (Harlan, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 13. Jackson County will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record.
