Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the South Plainfield Tigers (South Plainfield, NJ) and the visiting South River Rams (South River, NJ), saw South Plainfield's basketball squad wallop South River by a tally of 54-27.

With the victory, South Plainfield improves its record to 10-10 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Colonia (Colonia, NJ) to confront the Patriots in a Greater Middlesex - White challenge on Wednesday, February 8. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 10-9. Colonia lost 83-33 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Thomas Aquinas (Edison, NJ)

Next up, the Rams confront the Dunellen Destroyers (Dunellen, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. South River will attempt to improve on its 10-10 season record.
