The Eagles now possess a 11-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shallowater for a 3A Region I District 2 battle on Friday, February 9. Roosevelt will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 72-66 league win over Childress (Childress, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 26-2.

The Antelopes (9-18) will now prepare for their battle against Idalou (Idalou, TX). The Wildcats come into the 3A Region I District 2 battle with a 22-9 record. In their last battle, Idalou edged Dimmitt (Dimmitt, TX), 79-46, in a non-league battle.
