The Apple Valley Eagles basketball team (Apple Valley, MN), was overwhelmed 83-60 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Shakopee Sabers (Shakopee, MN)
The Sabers now possess a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eastview for a non-league battle on Friday, February 9. Shakopee will confront a Lightning team coming off a 73-34 non-league loss to Farmington (Farmington, MN). The Lightning record now stands at 3-14.
The Eagles (10-9) will now prepare for their battle against Rosemount (Rosemount, MN). The Irish come into the AAAA Section 3 battle with a 6-12 record. In their last battle, Rosemount was overwhelmed by Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN), 85-60, in a non-league battle.
