The Appomattox County Raiders basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting William Campbell Generals to 45 in the Raiders league victory on Tuesday.

The Raiders now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Randolph-Henry for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Appomattox County will battle a Statesmen team coming off a 47-41 league loss to Nottoway (Nottoway, VA). The Statesmen record now stands at 6-11.

The Generals (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Dan River (Ringgold, VA). The Wildcats come into the Dogwood contest with a 6-13 record. In their last contest, Dan River was nudged by Chatham (Chatham, VA), 51-48, in a league contest.
