The Ballinger Bearcats basketball team (Ballinger, TX), was nudged 71-66 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Grape Creek Eagles (San Angelo, TX)
The Eagles now possess a 10-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coahoma for a 3A Region I District 6 battle on Friday, February 9. Grape Creek will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 70-51 league loss to San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy (San Angelo, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 17-14.
The Bearcats (7-18) will now prepare for their battle against Clyde (Clyde, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Region I District 6 battle with a 17-9 record.
