Texas High School Basketball - Llano nips Blanco

February 6, 2024: Blanco, TX 78606

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Llano Yellowjackets (Llano, TX) and the host Blanco Panthers (Blanco, TX), saw Llano's basketball squad hold off Blanco by a tally of 61-60.

With the victory, Llano improves its record to 24-6 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Florence (Florence, TX) to play the Buffaloes in a 3A Region I District 5 challenge on Friday, February 9. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a record of 1-21. Florence lost 45-25 in their recent league challenge against Brady (Brady, TX)

Next up, the Panthers play the Ingram Moore Warriors (Ingram, TX) in a 3A Region I District 5 challenge, on Friday, February 9. Blanco will attempt to improve on its 14-11 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 17-14 record after their 50-47 league loss to Comfort (Comfort, TX).
