The Cabot Panthers basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Conway Wampus Cats to 58 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 9-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bryant for a 6A Central contest on Wednesday, February 7. Cabot will battle a Hornets team coming off a 52-50 league win over Central (Little Rock, AR). The Hornets record now stands at 23-2.

The Wampus Cats (7-14) will now prepare for their contest against Central (Little Rock, AR). The Tigers come into the 6A Central contest with a 21-5 record. In their last contest, Central prevailed over Cabot (Cabot, AR), 58-43, in a league contest.
