The Sandy Creek Patriots basketball team scored 74 points and held the host Carver Panthers to 20 in the Patriots league triumph on Tuesday.
The Patriots now sport a 21-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cedar Grove for a AAA Region 5 contest on Friday, February 9. Sandy Creek will battle a Saints team coming off a 45-43 league loss to Douglass (Atlanta, GA). The Saints record now stands at 16-7.
The Panthers (3-16) will now prepare for their contest against Douglass (Atlanta, GA). The Astros enter the AAA Region 5 contest with a 12-10 record. In their last contest, Douglass triumphed over Cedar Grove (Ellenwood, GA), 45-43, in a league contest.
