The Lawrence County Cougars basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Forrest County Agricultural Aggies to 38 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 12-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Columbia for a 4A Region 7 contest on Friday, February 9. Lawrence County will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 47-46 non-league win over Sumrall (Sumrall, MS). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-13.

The Aggies (11-15) will now prepare for their contest against Sumrall (Sumrall, MS). The Bobcats come into the non-league contest with a 21-4 record. In their last contest, Sumrall was defeated by Columbia (Columbia, MS), 47-46, in a non-league contest.
