Powell Panthers (Powell, TN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Halls Red Devils (Knoxville, TN), 60-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Powell upgrades its record to 20-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Oak Ridge (Oak Ridge, TN) to play the Wildcats in a 4A District 3 bout on Thursday, February 8. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 18-5. Oak Ridge won 81-47 in their recent league bout against Knoxville Central (Knoxville, TN)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Knoxville Central Bobcats (Knoxville, TN) in a 4A District 3 bout, on Thursday, February 8. Halls will attempt to upgrade on its 11-14 season record.
