Georgia High School Basketball - Quitman County ripped by Mitchell County

The Mitchell County Eagles basketball team scored 76 points and held the host Quitman County Hornets to 37 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Randolph-Clay for a A D2 Region 1 contest on Thursday, February 8. Mitchell County will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 57-42 non-league win over Chattahoochee County (Cusseta, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 15-8.
The Hornets (7-13) will now prepare for their contest against Seminole County (Donalsonville, GA). The Indians enter the A D2 Region 1 contest with a 16-6 record. In their last contest, Seminole County triumphed over Pataula Charter Academy (Edison, GA), 73-52, in a league contest.
