Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Moon Area routs West Allegheny

In Tuesday's league outing, the Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host West Allegheny Indians (Imperial, PA), by a margin of 74-42.
The Tigers (16-2) will now prepare for their outing against Mars (Mars, PA). The Fightin' Planets go into the WPIAL 5A 4 outing with a 10-11 record. In their last outing, Mars was trounced by Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA), 65-50, in a league outing.
The Indians now own a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to South Fayette for a WPIAL 5A 4 outing on Friday, February 9. West Allegheny will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 69-64 league win over North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA). The Lions record now stands at 11-8.
