Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA), 53-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Waynesboro upgrades its record to 4-17 on the season. The Little Giants travel to Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA) to clash with the Bison in a Shenandoah bout on Monday, February 12. The Bison go into the bout with a record of 11-11. Buffalo Gap won 59-55 in their recent league bout against Riverheads (Staunton, VA)

Next up, the Gladiators clash with the Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA) in a Shenandoah bout, on Friday, February 9. Riverheads will attempt to upgrade on its 5-17 season record. The Bison go into the bout with a 10-11 record after their 94-70 league loss to Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA).
