Georgia High School Basketball - Columbus nudges Crisp County

February 6, 2024: Cordele, GA 31015

In Tuesday's league outing, the Columbus Blue Devils (Columbus, GA) basketball squad edged the host Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA), by a count of 47-40.

The Blue Devils (9-15) will now prepare for their outing against Monroe (Albany, GA). The Golden Tornadoes go into the AAA Region 1 outing with a 16-8 record. In their last outing, Monroe was tipped by Carver (Columbus, GA), 69-44, in a league outing.

The Cougars now hold a 2-21 record. They play next when they travel to Thomasville for a AAA Region 1 outing on Friday, February 9. Crisp County will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 57-30 league loss to Dougherty (Albany, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-15.
