Forest Lake Christian Falcons (Auburn, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Encina Prep Bulldogs (Sacramento, CA), 42-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Forest Lake Christian upgrades its record to 7-14 on the campaign. The Falcons host John Adams Academy (Roseville, CA) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 8-12. John Adams Academy lost 62-15 in their recent league bout against Fortune Early College (Sacramento, CA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning Fire Wolves (Nevada City, CA) in a Central Valley California League bout, on Friday, February 9. Encina Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 4-16 season record. The Fire Wolves come into the bout with a 14-6 record after their 42-22 league win over Futures (Sacramento, CA).
