In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Hackensack Comets (Hackensack, NJ) basketball squad beat the visiting Paramus Spartans (Paramus, NJ), by a count of 45-34.

The Comets (4-13) will now prepare for their outing against Ramapo (Franklin Lakes, NJ). The Raiders go into the non-league outing with a 18-3 record. In their last outing, Ramapo defeated Ridgewood (Ridgewood, NJ), 36-27, in a non-league outing.

The Spartans now hold a 3-16 record. They play next when they host Northern Highlands for a Freelance outing on Thursday, February 8. Paramus will clash with a Highlanders squad coming off a 58-28 non-league loss to Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ). The Highlanders record now stands at 15-6.
