Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Morgan County Cougars (West Liberty, KY) and the visiting Perry County Central Commodores (Hazard, KY), saw Morgan County's basketball squad hold off Perry County Central by a tally of 73-68.

With the victory, Morgan County improves its record to 8-12 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Elliott County (Sandy Hook, KY) to confront the Lions in a District 62 challenge on Wednesday, February 7. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 6-11. Elliott County won 55-45 in their recent league challenge against East Carter (Grayson, KY)

Next up, the Commodores confront the Estill County Engineers (Irvine, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 12. Perry County Central will attempt to improve on its 15-9 season record.
