The Northern Guilford Nighthawks basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Southwest Guilford Cowboys to 48 in the Nighthawks non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Nighthawks now sport a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western Guilford for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Northern Guilford will battle a Hornets team coming off a 55-49 non-league loss to Grimsley (Greensboro, NC). The Hornets record now stands at 6-10.

The Cowboys (14-5) will now prepare for their contest against Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 1-14 record. In their last contest, Ragsdale was defeated by Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 61-17, in a non-league contest.
