In Thursday's league test, the Morrison Mustangs (Morrison, IL) basketball squad got by the visiting Amboy Clippers (Amboy, IL), by a score of 57-52.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Forreston Cardinals (Forreston, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 8. Morrison will attempt to improve on its 9-18 season record. The Cardinals come into the test with a 16-10 record after their 102-52 league loss to Pecatonica (Pecatonica, IL).

The Clippers (10-14) will now prepare for their test against St. Bede (Peru, IL). The Bruins come into the non-league test with a 11-14 record. In their last test, St. Bede was nipped by Woodland (Streator, IL), 60-38, in a non-league test.
