The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs (Mahomet, IL) and the host Charleston Trojans (Charleston, IL), observed Mahomet-Seymour's basketball team knock off Charleston by a score of 63-46.

The Bulldogs (10-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Effingham (Effingham, IL). The Hearts come into the Apollo challenge with a 6-20 record. In their last challenge, Effingham was knocked off by Mattoon (Mattoon, IL), 57-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans encounter the Rochester Rockets (Rochester, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 8. Charleston will attempt to improve on its 10-15 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 16-8 record after their 55-41 non-league loss to Triad (Troy, IL).
