The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Jemez Valley Warrior (Jemez Pueblo, NM) and the visiting Menaul Panthers (Albuquerque, NM), observed Jemez Valley's basketball team knock off Menaul by a score of 56-44.
The Warrior (17-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Santa Fe Prep (Santa Fe, NM). The Blue Griffins come into the non-league challenge with a 2-15 record. In their last challenge, Santa Fe Prep dropped by Raton (Raton, NM), 48-21, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Bosque Bobcats (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 8. Menaul will attempt to improve on its 8-13 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 3-17 record after their 53-42 league loss to East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM).
