In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Albany Huskies basketball team scored a decisive 71-37 triumph over the Melrose Dutchmen.
In their next game, the Huskies face the Zimmerman Thunder (Zimmerman, MN) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, February 9. Albany will attempt to improve on its 17-1 season record. The Thunder come into the battle with a 6-12 record after their 52-45 non-league loss to St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN).
The Dutchmen (10-7) will now prepare for their battle against West Central Area (Barrett, MN). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 12-5 record. In their last battle, West Central Area was overwhelmed by Hillcrest Lutheran Academy (Fergus Falls, MN), 51-47, in a non-league battle.
