Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Charleroi knocked off by Brownsville

The Brownsville Falcons basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Charleroi Cougars to 55 in the Falcons league triumph on Tuesday.
The Falcons now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host California for a non-league contest on Friday, February 10. Brownsville will meet a Trojans team coming off a 66-34 league loss to Monessen (Monessen, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 6-15.
The Cougars (10-11) will now prepare for their contest against Yough (Herminie, PA). The Cougars enter the WPIAL 3A 4 contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, Yough ran past Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, PA), 52-17, in a league contest.
